PD-ICoP

Post-Doctoral International Community of Practice for Person-Centred Practice or PD-ICoP aims to establish a group of like-minded persons who are open to offer and receive high support and high challenge to enable our growth and understanding of person-centred theory and practice. It also aims to create a collaborative space to progress the current understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of person-centred research and practice.

Persons who join would:

  • Join as a person not organisational identity through ICoP membership

  • Have completed doctoral level studies that were embedded within person-centredness

  • Normally be alumni of Student International Community of Practice (SICoP)

  • Be committed to progressing the theoretical underpinnings and understanding of person-centred research and practice

  • Be willing to embrace the existing ways of working and programs of research

  1. we move, and enable each other to move between different levels and ways of understanding

  2. we can be vulnerable and open

  3. we take time to reflect and respond critically, creatively and with respect

  4. we ask challenging questions

  5. we share knowledge and learning journeys related to person-centred work and research in a way that enables collective learning

  6. our differences and similarities create a rich and enriching whole

  7. we pay attention to the purpose of our work together

  8. we are action-orientated

Who are we?

Current collaboration
